WHY DONATE TO ALS/MND RESEARCH
ALS/MND is a death sentence in the cruelest of ways.....
ALS/MND robs you of movement....speech.....and finally breath.
Every 90 minutes in the US someone is diagnosed with ALS and every 90 minutes someone dies from ALS/MND.
Ireland is now a global gateway for ALS research.
Research at Trinity College, the University of Dublin, under the direction of Dr. Orla Hardiman, a leading International ALS/MND researcher, is making a significant Global impact.
Your donation makes a difference. We need your support in joining us in a global effort to stop this dreadful disease. Research is our only hope.
ALS/MND is said to be a fatal disease. We think it's an underfunded one.
ALS and MND are one in the same: Motor Neuron Disease, Lou Gehrig's Disease and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. They are the very same disease. In the US we know it as ALS or Lou Gehrig's Disease (named after the famous baseball player) and in other parts of the world it is known as MND (motor neuron disease).
